At Landen Insurance we are committed to protecting your privacy.  We want you to understand what information we collect about you and how we use that information. This privacy policy applies to our relationship with you if you are an individual who obtains products or services from us for personal, family or household insurance purposes.

Information we collect

 We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources:

• Information we receive from you on applications or other forms (such as your name, address, and date of birth)
• Information about your transactions with us
• Information we receive from third parties, such as a consumer reporting agency.

Information We Disclose to Nonaffiliates

We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to any nonaffiliated third parties, except as permitted by law. Disclosures that are permitted by law include, but are not limited to, disclosures that are necessary to service your policy, to investigate and pay claims, and to process transactions that you request. We also may disclose nonpublic personal information about you to third parties that perform marketing services on our behalf.  We will insist through a written agreement that the third party adheres to privacy principles similar to our own for keeping customer information confidential.  To date, we have not utilized the services of third party marketing services.

Information Security

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to those employees and outside service providers who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with applicable federal and state regulations to guard your nonpublic personal information.
